Rasiha Kavaklidere (The Artist) is the Lead Artist and Founder of Moondust Face & Body Art, is known for her creative face & body painting artistry where her designs are very distinctive and unique amongst other creative and professional artists. She has a great wealth of experience working for the last 10 years within the professional industry and currently obtains a PLI of £10M. Her journey started back in 2013 when she first operated under the name of "Funtastik Faces" and then launched her new business name "Moondust Face & Body Art" in 2019. Face painting started as a fun time hobby at her home with her two younger children and eventually became her passion as soon as she started to connect with her online face painting community. As her confidence and skills grew so did her dreams and she has achieved great popularity with her many signature designs that is highly recognisable within the worldwide Face painting industry. Rasiha say's "I love inspiring and being inspired, I have great passion for my art and I can never have enough of learning and becoming better in what I love doing the most!"

Besides face painting Rasiha has many other artistry skills such as Airbrush Tattoo artistry, Henna art, Glitter artistry (Glitter- bar), Body art, SFX make up, loves painting Pregnancy bumps, she even paints and personalises canvas shoes.

What an unforgettable experience at the UK Face & Body Art Convention 2026! UK Face & Body Art Convention

With such a short window to get ready for the Masquerade Gala, it was quite the creative challenge… but we pulled it off! 😂🔥

A special mention to my beautiful friend Hannah, Fresh & Funky Faces - Hannah Ainsworth who did a phenomenal job creating her stunning costume and styling her gorgeous hair! 💙 I had the pleasure of completing her look with my airbrush artistry, alongside creating my own handcrafted headpiece and makeup. Two creative minds bringing our visions to life!

The overwhelming compliments and appreciation from fellow artists, including some incredible international talents, genuinely meant the world to us. ❤️

As a proud Party Industry Trade Organisation BAPIA member, a heartfelt thank you to everyone behind UKFABAC especially Bex Bapia for such an inspiring experience, wonderful friendships and unforgettable memories!

A little throwback to my body painting days…

Pre-Covid, I had the privilege of helping arrange a UK workshop with Matteo Arfanotti painter & bodypainter one of the masters of the body painting world. This was my creation from his Sirens workshop.

Body painting played a huge part in my journey as an artist, and looking back reminds me just how much work is sitting quietly in those archives. 🖤

This shoot is particularly special. The stunning portrait was captured by Boguslaw Mastaj, who sadly passed away after this shoot, shared again in memory of his incredible photographic artistry. 🖤

And a special mention to Clive Allcorn Photography Clive Allcorn, who photographed so much of my professional body painting work over the years and beautifully documented that chapter of my journey. ❤️

A day that will stay with me for a very long time. ❤️🎗️

Today, Moondust had the absolute pleasure of returning to Bedfordshire Hospitals Children’s Ward for Crazy Hair Day, supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness.

I’ve been fortunate enough to experience many wonderful things through my work, but every now and then, a day comes along that touches your heart in a completely different way.

Today was one of those days. 🥹

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible NHS staff and everyone working so tirelessly behind the scenes. The compassion, kindness and dedication you give to others every single day deserve so much recognition.

Thank you for welcoming me back and allowing me to contribute a little colour, creativity and happiness to such a meaningful cause.

I hope I brought as many smiles to your day as you brought warmth to my heart.

Some experiences are simply priceless. ❤️
