Rasiha Kavaklidere (The Artist) is the Lead Artist and Founder of Moondust Face & Body Art, is known for her creative face & body painting artistry where her designs are very distinctive and unique amongst other creative and professional artists. She has a great wealth of experience working for the last 10 years within the professional industry and currently obtains a PLI of £10M. Her journey star

ted back in 2013 when she first operated under the name of "Funtastik Faces" and then launched her new business name "Moondust Face & Body Art" in 2019. Face painting started as a fun time hobby at her home with her two younger children and eventually became her passion as soon as she started to connect with her online face painting community. As her confidence and skills grew so did her dreams and she has achieved great popularity with her many signature designs that is highly recognisable within the worldwide Face painting industry. Rasiha say's "I love inspiring and being inspired, I have great passion for my art and I can never have enough of learning and becoming better in what I love doing the most!"

“Is this your full-time job?”

It’s one of the questions I’m asked most often when I’m working at events.

And honestly, I completely understand why.

People see the colourful paints, the glitter and the smiling faces, but what they don’t always see is everything that happens behind the scenes.

The emails, quotes, bookings, stock ordering, equipment maintenance, travel, preparation, training and countless hours spent running a business.

Face painting is creative, fun and incredibly rewarding, but it’s also a profession that requires skill, experience and dedication.

So yes, this is my full-time job. ❤️

And I feel incredibly lucky that I get to do something I love whilst helping create special memories for others. 🎨✨

It was such a pleasure to be painting today on behalf of , working alongside a wonderfully talented team of artists to help bring smiles, imagination and a little bit of magic to so many faces.

From fierce dragons and fantasy creatures to beautiful florals and elegant eye designs, every brushstroke was created with speed, quality and plenty of wow factor. 💙💖

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as a face painter is that beautiful artwork and practical artwork don’t have to be two different things.

When you’re working at busy events, festivals, parties and corporate activations, you’re constantly balancing speed, quality and the all-important wow factor.

These designs were all created on the job, with real queues, real time pressures and excited children waiting in line. Every brush stroke has a purpose, every element is there for impact, and every design is created with efficiency in mind.

Creating detailed showcase pieces is wonderful for developing skills and creativity, but working events requires a different skill set altogether. The challenge is delivering quality consistently while ensuring every child leaves feeling special.

Professional face painting isn’t about how long a design takes. It’s about creating memorable experiences, even on the busiest days.
