Pembroke Players stage four to six shows a term in our versatile studio theatre, New Cellars. We also fund productions in other venues, such as the ADC or Corpus Playroom. The glory years of Eric Idle, Peter Cooke, Bill Oddie, Tim Brooke-Taylor and others saw the Pembroke Players flourish, and the last few years have seen a resurgence. Our primary aim throughout has been to encourage student theat

re within Cambridge with particular, but by no means exclusive, regard to Pembroke students. We certainly don't exist purely for "thesps" like Emma Thompson, though if you are Emma or want to be, then please come and visit, we're interested in all levels of drama and all enthusiasms!

JOIN US in celebrating a very special milestone - the 70th anniversary of the Pembroke Players!

The Pembroke Players are one of Cambridge’s largest collegiate drama societies, and we are proud to announce that this year we turn 70. Come reflect on this exciting theatrical history
(and drink free wine with us) to celebrate!!!

We are hosting our celebration on the 6th of May from 6:30 - anyone who has been at all involved with a Pembroke Players funded show, and anyone who would just like to support us is welcome to come and chat about theatre with some free wine and Pem Players alumni 💋💋
