Mummy Makes Cakes I love to bake and create. I first started back in 2010 and have been creating ever since. This is a Fan page to share what I create! We do not sell. Lol!

My recipes are tried, tested and developed by me with the aid of my family and friends. I use fresh, locally or homemade produced (if possible), high quality ingredients. My now deceased grandmothers sister-in-law who I affectionately called aunt, was a very reputable cake decorator back in her day, with people coming from a far to visit her shop and order a cake. I loved the visits to her shop! I

’d have a good nosy around, play with her ribbons and watch her creating in her back room. She created my wedding cake for me as a gift twenty years ago. In my book it says “Remember that baking is a slow, sensuous process”. I think that was one of my problems. I charged for 8 hours took 15 plus! I gave too much love 🥰 😜
