Wow. After this weeks downpours it’s safe to say…
Live illustration is the perfect indoor entertainment for a rainy day. I’ve had such an amazing August, it’s come and gone far too quickly! But here’s a few little snaps of some of the gorgeous guests I’ve painted recently! I would do a reel, but there’s just too much loveliness to cram in!

In art they say less is more, but clearly they have never had a balding guest to live illustrate.😂🫠

Some things our brains are wired to do, some things are learned. Some things come naturally to us, while others take time (me with geography 🫠). You practise, you listen, you learn, you teach yourself, and you keep getting better.
And somewhere along the way, you realise that natural talent might give you a starting point, but it’s everything you’ve poured into it since that makes it yours.

I paint every day (literally everyday), enrolled to classes, courses, sacrificed my maternity leave, invested in materials, trekked back and forth to London , threw myself into getting better and better at my craft to make sure I could give it my all and create a job I truly love.

The best feeling for an artist / live illustrator… when hours and hours of work are finally packaged up and on their way...

V+A just the most beautiful day at Cripps Barn (never felt so unfit in my life) the guest list was full of fitties/ Ironman athletes - including bride Vicki!

Honestly such an incredible day! Could we do it all again?
