Welcome to Rapunzel! In a land where art has been banned and all the Dames have been banished, can this kingdom be brought back to life?

In a dastardly plan to keep them away from his crown, the evil King sends his nephew and niece, Prince Victor and Princess Stella, on a quest to save Rapunzel from her dragon-guarded tower in the hopes that they perish. Along the way they instead encounter adventure, hilarity, and friendship. Join Victor and Stella on their way to save Rapunzel and, ultimately, the entire kingdom.

🎭 Rapunzel opens this week! 🎭

The CUADC/Footlights Pantomime 2021: Rapunzel opens at the ADC Theatre on Wednesday, so its time to introduce our cast!

Tickets only remain for our matinee performances on Monday 29 November, Tuesday 30 November and Thursday 2 December.

About why you should see the show, Grace Beckett, who plays the Sugar Plum Fairy, says, 'It's so joyous! The story is about expression of your true self. It's a feel good show to end the year with and the music and dancing is so brilliant that it will leave a smile on your face! (and the songs stuck in your head for at least 5 weeks...)'

Speaking about the script, Joy Adeogun, who plays Topsy Turvy, says, 'Have you ever considered what society would be like without expression, creativity and art? This show does exactly that. It takes us into a fictional world where Drag Queens, Gender Expression, Poetry, Dance is all taken away, and the journey to overcome it'

On his experience of the production process, Theo, who plays Chad, says, 'The best bits!? The people, the songs, the characters, the script, going muhahahahahahahahahahahaha a lot, wearing really tight jeans, the dances, the songs again. Basically: everything.'
