Sardine Contest Festas de Lisboa 2021

Sardine 1: Trying to represent Portugal in sardines, I thought that a good way would be to include the counties of Portugal with the road that goes from one end of the country to the other, that is, Nacional 2. Since Portugal is also one of the oldest countries in the world, I thought that it would be nice to give the map an antique look.

Sardine 2: I decided to make a sardine to represent one of Portugal's greatest prides: the Carnation Revolution on April 25, 1974. This sardine includes a verse from Grândola Vila Morena, a stenciled image of Salgueiro Maia and the date of the event. A date that cannot be forgotten, thanks to which many of us are here today.

Sardine 3: This sardine is inspired by Portuguese filigree. Supposedly crafted in gold, representing the wealth of Portugal.
