➕ New show! ➕ Barbican Estate at The Portland Arms Cambridge | Wednesday 11th November 2026

Formed in Tokyo in 2019, Barbican Estate make dark, immersive psychedelic rock shaped by noise, experimental music and a much wider world of influences, from Beat literature and William Blake to Greek mythology.

The trio of Kazuki Toneri, Miri and Koh Hamada create a brooding, hypnotic sound that sits somewhere between psychedelia, drone and art-rock, with sitar, percussion and layers of guitar adding to the atmosphere.

➕ Support announced!➕ Sarah Crean joins Lime Garden at Cambridge Junction this October.

The Irish singer-songwriter and producer makes dreamy, slow-burn indie pop, pairing a knack for life’s intimate details with an increasingly irresistible catalogue.

Fresh from appearances at SXSW and Truck Festival, and having previously toured with the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Pillow Queens and Florence Road, she’ll join Lime Garden on their Maybe Not Tonight tour this autumn.

Home show, live record launch, new songs... The Baby Seals are coming in hot 🔥

After taking their debut album Chaos around Europe last year, the Cambridge trio return to Junction 2 this September to celebrate the release of The Baby Seals Live 12", with new material from their forthcoming second album thrown into the set too.

Expect loud, kinetic, gloriously chaotic energy from a band who’ve spent the last decade tearing through stages from Cambridge to Boomtown, Rebellion and beyond 🤙

Fresh from a summer that’s taken them from Latitude to Green Man, Lime Garden are heading back indoors this autumn.

The Brighton four-piece released their second album Maybe Not Tonight in April, a bigger, bolder dose of their brilliantly wonky indie-pop, built around all the fun, chaos and questionable decisions of a night out.

Catch them in Cambridge as part of their Maybe Not Tonight 2026 tour.

Mull Historical Society heads to Cambridge this September for an evening of songs, readings and conversation.

The tour follows the release of In My Mind There’s A Photograph, Colin MacIntyre’s collaborative album featuring words from writers including Irvine Welsh, Ali Smith, Len Pennie, Paul Lynch and Alexander McCall Smith.

The latest track from the record, Midnight Sun, was written with Booker Prize winner Paul Lynch and turns memories of his grandparents and their now-empty home into an unexpectedly uplifting song.

➕ SUPPORT ADDED ➕ Armton (solo) joins Mull Historical Society at Storey's Field Centre, Cambridge on Friday 18 September.

Armton brings a gentle, melodic strain of indie-pop to the evening, joining Colin MacIntyre for a night that blurs the lines between gig, storytelling and live literature.

Expect songs, stories, readings and conversation as Colin celebrates new Mull Historical Society album 'In My Mind There’s A Photograph' alongside his new novel 'An Island Burning'.
