We have all this work on display here .cic which needs picking up! So if you recognise any of this work as belonging to you please do pop in during our opening hours and let us know.

The exhibition is on until Friday September 11th so please pick up any work before then.

Water Bodies was part of a project developed by with funding from Arts Council England exploring lost and existing water sites and material experiments shaped by the town’s post-industrial landscape.

The next exhibition will be showing work made at the Kids Summer Clay and Kids Summer Glass courses.

You may not know, but we do so much more than just pottery, as if that wasn’t enough!

As well as having a state of the art, purpose buit pottery with British-made throwing wheels, four pottery kilns of various sizes, a dedicated members area, a slab roller, lockers for members and a display area for members’ work we also have….

A fully functional, modern glass studio also with room for members to work and store their pieces. We have four glass kilns, again of various sizes. There are glass courses from beginners to masteclasses!

We also offer jewellery classes including silver clay, bead making and have oxycon torches as well as bead kilns.

We do courses, classes and workshops studio time and studio hire, kiln hire, space hire, hen and buck parties and professional tuition and mentoring.

As if this was not enough we aksi have a fully stocked library and kitchen where you can have a cup of coffee and get inspiration for your next art project.

We also have the finest toilets in Camborne!

Please just remember that while the renovations are underway access is through the pottery door to the left if the building.

Another Mosaic is in progress here at .CIC.

Designed by and being installed by with some very early inspiration from a series of workshops with .

The design is based on liquid glaze and is being installed in our designated glaze room where we mix our own glazes that were developed by Jane and Flora our pottery technician and tutor and which our Members get to use!

It’s been a big year already for our artisan shop in Cornwall, and we’re searching for new artists and makers to welcome - could it be you? We are especially keen to introduce some new brilliant printmakers, raku and soda fired pottery, and unusual jewellery! 🎨

Submitting your work to independent shops and galleries can feel like a real chore (especially when you’d rather be creating) so we’re going to make it as simple as possible.

If you are based in Cornwall, and feel a kinship with our Inspire Makers ethos of supporting local creatives and offering unique wares, we’d love to hear from you.

Simply leave a comment on this post, with a picture of your work and a short sentence about you.

We are looking for something we don't currently have so please check the selection on the website before applying!
