The Launch of Cloud Dog Studios!

I’d like to introduce you to Cloud Dog Studio. It’s a lovely little studio overlooking the River Tamar in Calstock. I am a ceramicist and mixed media artist and teacher and I love sharing my skills and knowledge with anybody who wants to get creative! I have many years experience of showing children and adults of all ages and abilities how they can make their own amazing pieces of art. So many people are scared to have a go - my advice is always - Give It A Go. Just because your teacher said that you couldn’t draw all those years ago.... don’t let that stop you diving back in and getting creative now. I will be running a variety of workshops and a regular ceramics group - so there should be something for everybody.

It’s been a bit grey, windy and overcast here in Calstock today.... So, I have spent my time creating this new page for Cloud Dog Studios. It’s a thought provoking and time consuming process, but great for getting your plans in order. There are little bits of description to be written, photos to choose (that’s when you discover that the one you wanted to use is not up to the close up scrutiny required for FB), and a little bit of tea drinking!

Having made my page, the next big hurdle is getting it out there and shared around... I’m hoping that you will all be able to help me there - please do spread the word for me. I’ve been reading about the role that friends and colleagues play in promoting small businesses, and it is really vital. So often we hear about our friends launching a new idea, we see their posts and ‘Like’, or maybe even make a (funny to us) but unsuitable comment thinking we are being clever. But as that enormous supermarket beginning with T says - every little helps.
