You might have noticed I've been a little quiet on here lately. This isn't because I'm being lazy, I've been working on a very special commission for a family who's son James has passed away 💔 This was his favourite advert.
It was a bit of a strange meeting when John and Jane came to meet me at my Workshop to discuss the peice. I said how tall would you like him to be 🐻, John held out his hand at exactly 22". Next we we're talking about where I source a lot of my wood, how 22 trees had been lost in the recent storm....."Do you see a pattern appearing here "🤔 The story continues, James was 22 when he sadly passed. He passed on 02/09/2022 at precisely 22:22💔 All 22's . John and Jane had found me online, no idea of where I live, I contacted them later that evening and said "do you realise my address is No22 😲 We knew it was meant to be.
I will do a "making of " video at a later date as this really has tested my carving skills....there is more to it than meets the eye. I want this to be something to help with the grief of losing a son.
