William Daniel is a name that is synonymous within the Dance Music Scene in Glasgow and we are lucky enough to have him play our event on the 21st November alongside of course Super8 & Tab, 2wice As Nice, Des and MYSEL.
William Danielβs journey into electronic music began in Scotland during the golden era of trance, techno, and house. Inspired by pirate radio and the underground club scene, he started experimenting with turntables before becoming part of the pirate radio movement himself, developing the track selection, mixing, and crowd-reading skills that would shape his career.
Alongside DJing, William has enjoyed a diverse career across the music industry. His work with 23rd Precinct Music encompassed A&R, label management, music publishing, and retail, while his journalism for platforms including M8 Magazine and Beatsmedia saw him contribute reviews, interviews, features, and scene coverage.
With experience spanning DJing, pirate radio, promotion, A&R, publishing, label management, and journalism, William Daniel remains a passionate advocate for electronic music, preserving its history while continuing to evolve with the culture.
More recently, William performed at SWG3βs sold-out Vinyl Fantasy, celebrating the art of classic vinyl DJing and showcasing his deep connection to the roots of club culture.
