Let's Make is a Mobile Pottery studio Operating in the Mid- Argyll area. Ran by ceramic artist Jamie Louise McIntosh we offer pop- up pottery workshops, ceramic skills classes, pottery painting events and one to one throwing lessons at the artist's garden studio in Cairnbaan. The artist also accepts commissions and sells her own ceramic pieces at craft and ceramic art fairs.

We're still here! 🙌

It's been radio silence over here at Let's Make! But we've been pottering away in the back ground. Unfortunately not much ceramics based pottering, but renovating our mad wreck of a house (onto year 2 now) and keeping 2 kiddos alive and well at the same time.
Although this week my new studio saw a bit of love with a new set of windows and doors courtesy of the Sloan Improvements team who got thoroughly soaked installing them. 🌦☔️

We have managed a few pop ups here and there working with community groups as one of our favourite things!
Last week saw us down in Tarbert at the local friendship group and what a lovely bunch of folk they were too.

Next week theres a special Halloween pop up at the Mac Pool with some themed piggy banks, tea lights and ornaments as well as mugs and other dishes for the more practical folk. 🎃☕️

Hopefully keep a wee bit of momentum and get a few more pottery dates in the pipe line! 👌🌈

This bank holiday we will be at

From 10.30 to 12.30 Monday the 25th May we will be at the pool cafe for some pottery painting fun!

Its £5 a head and all the pottery will be £10 or under for this session only so why not come along, grab a bargain, and have some creative fun with the kiddos with tasty cakes, food and coffee on hand and a soft play to chuck them in afterwards, you might get some peace in the afternoon!...Maybe?

DISCLAIMER peace and quiet and exhausted children can't be guaranteed but we are forever hopeful! 🤪🌈

Thanks again for everyone's patience, turn around seems to be taking a little longer these days with small people and a renovation project that sees my studio space change on a daily basis!

Another brilliant event, this time to celebrate Mother's Day! 💐

Delicious food (as always) and some lovely new pottery on offer, we can't wait to see the fired pieces. 🔥

A lovely mix today, families out together, friends catching up and mum's grabbing a sacred couple of hours to themselves, a chance to breath and relax child free.
We love our kiddos more than anything, but motherhood is hard and relentless, and it was clearer than ever today, we need to allow ourselves that rest bite. So I hope that's what today was for the mum's that were needing it.🎨

I hope all the mum's and the special women in your lives felt the love and appreciation today! ❤️

A wee bit later than planned but the best things are worth waiting for!
Some beautiful examples of painted pottery are now ready to collect from Lucy's during their opening hours.

If youre anything like me, time it nicely to grab a bite or a cheeky takeaway this weekend.
