I thought it was time for an update:

The new blower is in but not yet working - the short answer to a lot of testing is the Soft Starter is not able to deliver the amps needed to start the motor under load (I.e with the blower attached!) so a new bigger starter is on the way!

In the meantime things are progressing with work in the chamber which is due to start next weekend with now everything basically ready to go in!

I wil take the opportunity during this down time I take out the trumpet and have the resonators soldered into the blocks for the top three octaves to improve the stability of the rank - it’s all go!
