MCDC WORKBEATS #1 - HOUSY DANCI PART 1
Over the last year and half we have been listening to a wider range of music and test running it during the sessions for our INCLUSIVE DESIGN + ART EXPO26 ...or "OUR BIG FRINGE DO" at The Palace Hotel in Buxton in July.

I.D.A EXPO26
I think we need to work very jolly hard to meet this deadline in July. We, MCDC and with the support of Moore Care Ltd are going to host our own art and design exhibition and hang-out event at the Ballroom, Palace Hotel from 20th - 24th July.
It's registered with the Buxton Fringe, it's intended as a celebration of design, art and a Samurai costume fashion exhibition with a fashion show thrown in at the end, and a "little" rave at the end. In between there will be, Badger-Oki or Karaoki and some other bit n pieces.
Bright Opportunities, Rossendale Trust and some other local groups that support adults with learning disabilities have been invited to exhibit or join in with this 5 day hang-out. It's open to the public during the day until 6pm.

Get ready, Wolverhampton - the dragons are coming! 🐲

We're delighted to announce our partnership with Compton Care to bring Trailofthedragons to the city in summer 2027.

Taking flight for nine weeks from 5 July to 5 September 2027, the trail will see dragon sculptures take over Wolverhampton's streets, painted by artists and sponsored by local businesses eager to ignite community spirit and creativity.

The first sculptures have already been brought to life by Eden-designs Murals and there's a whole dragon fleet still to come. The trail will culminate in a high-profile auction of the artworks.

All proceeds support Compton Care, a charity delivering specialist palliative care and bereavement support.
