More Care Design Collective MCDC est. 2013 for adults with learning disabilities. The group practice many kinds of design making skills. We run our workshop on a not-for-profit basis.

MCDC is based in fully equipped professional design workshop in Buxton, Derbyshire, England UK. We are a design and art group that specialise in innovative sculpture, furniture and 2D art. Our work ethos is based on social enterprise and professional creative development.

Prep piece - Still a lot of work to be done on these costumes so they can be easily donned and worn by the models at the fashion show at The Good Clothes Show this coming November.

Brian Badger ornamental neck guard, feathers are from the Jackdaws and Wood Pigeons.
These have been collected from just outside the workshop when they were dropped when the birds were moulting.
