Where should you eat, drink and shop in Sheffield?
Comedian Rob Rouse of The Comedy Village has lived in and around this city for years. Here are his five picks in his REYT Good Recommendations.
🍺 Pub: Crookes Social Club — warm, welcoming, Alpacalypse on tap. Go for a drink, see what's on, you'll be friends for life.
🍽️ Food: NO NAME Sheffield — BYO, bespoke menu, feels like dinner in someone's front room. Book well in advance.
🛍️ Shop: Atkinsons Department Store on The Moor — survived the Blitz, survived Meadowhall. "You could shoot a remake of Michael Mann's Heat in the car park." Don't miss the animatronic Christmas displays.
❤️ Favourite thing: Talking to people. Just open yourself up to it.
💎 Hidden gem: Hidden Gem at Work Ltd Cafe, off Ringinglow Road — charity-run, locally sourced, incredible shakshuka. Never skip the specials.
