What a day…

Our 2026 Graduation Ceremony was a wonderful celebration of talent, hard work and everything this incredible group of graduates has achieved.

To our graduates… congratulations. We couldn’t be prouder of the artists, professionals and people you have become. We can’t wait to see where your journeys take you next.

A huge thank you to our families, friends and supporters who filled the room with so much love and encouragement. Your belief has helped make this moment possible.

Thank you to our outstanding faculty and staff whose passion, commitment and care continue to shape the next generation of performers and educators. Behind every graduate is a team of people who have invested so much in their success.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make today’s ceremony run so smoothly… from those behind the scenes to everyone who played a part in creating such a special occasion.

A very special thank you to our guest speaker Kerri Norville for sharing such thoughtful, inspiring and generous words with our graduates. Your message perfectly captured the excitement, responsibility and opportunity that lies ahead, and we are incredibly grateful that you chose to celebrate this milestone with us.

That’s a wrap!

What an incredible few days.

Seussical has been a celebration of imagination, teamwork and everything that makes live theatre so special. From the first rehearsal to the final curtain call, it has been a privilege to watch this company grow, support one another and create something they can be truly proud of.

To everyone who made this production possible… our cast, orchestra, creative team, technical team, wardrobe, front of house volunteers, faculty, senior management team and everyone working behind the scenes… thank you. Every contribution mattered.

To our audiences… thank you for filling the theatre with laughter, applause and so much encouragement. Your support means the world to our students.

And to our performers… take a moment to reflect on what you’ve achieved. Productions end, but the skills you’ve developed, the friendships you’ve built and the memories you’ve created will stay with you long after the set has been packed away.

The hats are boxed, the feathers are folded, the Jungle of Nool has disappeared… but the magic of Seussical will stay with us for a long time.

Opening night… done!

What a privilege it is to bring Seussical to life for the very first time in front of an audience.

Moments like these remind us that theatre is never created by the people in the spotlight alone. Every cue called, every costume changed, every prop placed, every note played and every audience member welcomed is part of the same story.

To our creative team, technical team, faculty, senior management team, company manager, assistant company manager and our student volunteers… thank you. Your care, commitment and countless unseen hours made tonight possible.

And to our acting company… thank you for trusting us with your talent. Watching you support one another, rise to every challenge and share this story with such generosity is what makes MPAA so special.

Finally, thank you to everyone who joined us this evening.
Three more performances to go… and we can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow.
