🚨 Facilitator and Artist Call-Out! 🚨

The Met is looking for facilitators and artists working in different art forms across Greater Manchester to join our pool of freelancers for upcoming opportunities.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from practitioners who have experience delivering creative workshops in community or participatory settings, including work with early years, children, young people, adults, community groups and neurodiverse and learning-disabled young people and adults.

Opportunities may include one-off workshops, longer-term creative projects, holiday activities and community engagement sessions.

This term, our Met Express groups have been exploring the world of puppetry and how to bring everyday objects to life. A huge thank you to Oliver from The League of Curiosity for leading these fabulous sessions 🎭

Met Express is an inclusive and accessible group for people with learning disabilities, run by expert facilitators with a diverse membership. It was wonderful to see the creativity, ideas and imagination come to life this session!

Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gary Stewart performs at The Met on Friday 4 September, bringing songs from his new album and some of Paul Simon’s best-loved hits 🎶

Known for his folk/pop sound, the Scottish songsmith draws much of his inspiration from prominent singer-songwriters of the 1960s and 1970s, with Paul Simon as his biggest inspiration. Expect a mix of Gary's back catalogue and songs from his new album, with some of Paul Simon's greatest hits.
