Today marks the 4 year anniversary of a very special gig for us.
Alex's Drunkfest 2022 at Alma Inn.
This gig changed everything.
Our first mosh pit rager. Back when we were a three piece, Chris Marsh blasting through two channels on his guitar. In fact, Sam Cummins was in the crowd.
This show put things in motion that established today's line-up.
In the words of Sheldon Audio Engineer: "A fixed canon point that shall not be changed in any reality."
Whatever that means.
Adrian Marsh translates: "A point that triggered and changed all versions of DWINGLE."
A very sentimental memory.
Alex Partington's (Ph***ic Rage, Altomp Music, Seven Severed Heads, Finished 52) birthday bash with us as main support. At the time, we were used to opening gigs.
Alma bosses past and present were in the audience - Matthew T. Bond, Hannah Bond, Sam Elcoat Dean, & Emma Redgrave. Louis Mcdermott was on sound of course.
So many friends on the line-up and in the crowd...
And the crowd went bonkers, in the palm of Joseph Gibson's hand!
This gig ignited self belief and we wouldn't have achieved the things we have without this experience.
