Our next weekend workshop is Sunday 13th September from 1pm. Join our lovely afternoon workshop making your own pumpkin sculpture in clay, these will be fired and ready well in time for Halloween 🎃 £40 per person and this includes the session and completed projects fired and glazed. This moon vase is glazed using our own mixed glazes rather than commercial glaze. The green has a base recipe I also use for a nice cream glaze and also a blue glaze we use, with just 1 ingredient change (colour oxide) sobits incredibly versatile. The bottom "oil spot" glaze is a recipe i tested 10 years ago, this is 2 glazes, one is an 'iron' rich glaze with a thick cream glaze applied on top and it makes the surface react in this lovely spotted pattern... #
