Many of us have been affected or know someone who has been affected by babies whose lives are gone too soon. This time 6 years ago, our DoM was himself returning from meeting his nephew, born sleeping, and leading his memorial. is a global event where we can light a candle and be still for an hour at 7pm on 15th October in memory.

On we presented Ricky with the Loyal Service Award to thank him for over 40 years' dedicated service to our choir and church. He encouraged anyone thinking about joining the choir to come and make memories to last a lifetime and said he loved the comradeship and beautiful music most.

Cantus Firmus Choir and Churches Together in Bury St Edmunds are calling for singers to form a choir for “Sharers in the Promise” – a presentation for Advent, to be held at St Mary’s Church, Bury St Edmunds, on Sunday 14 December. The choir will be directed by Richard Hubbard, St Edmundsbury & Ipswich Music Development Director, and is open to singers from across Suffolk and surrounding areas.
