As part of our ongoing mission to grow bigger and better and cater to more of the local community outside of our well established grassroots music scene we have a range of activities we are introducing for you parents (and children) out there!!

The first one being announced today, and beginning in two weeks time, is The Move and Groove Family Disco.

✨ ROOMSFEST 2026 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT ✨

Cambridge emotional post hardcore UNDERSHIRTS will be joining us for the annual RoomsFest festival! Come and join us on Saturday 26th September from Midday to support and raise funds for your local friendly music venues.

This isn't just another music festival, it's a community coming together to support the places where so many local bands begin their journey.

100% of proceeds raised during this event will go towards helping to maintain and improve The Rehearsal Rooms, ensuring local musicians have an affordable place to rehearse for years to come. We're also celebrating and raising awareness of the reopening of Hunter Club Arts Centre, one the town’s most valuable community assets and grassroots music venues, following its refurbishment.

Tonight, Klinker Club comes to Bury St Edmunds!!

Originally started in London in 1982, the collective has established a strong presence across Suffolk, bringing highly unconventional, avant-garde music, free improvisation, poetry, and surreal performances to local venues.

If you attend a Klinker event, expect a "portal to weirdness". A typical lineup includes free jazz, experimental electronics, abstract flautists, toy instruments, and performance art.

To celebrate the launch of their new album Rinaldi Sings are hosting a gig and you're all invited!!!

Rinaldi Sings is the name assumed by singer and songwriter Steve Rinaldi, formerly a member of cult indie mod band The Moment, who was famously described by the NME as a “Scott Walker for the 21st Century”.

We’re looking for a brilliant bunch of volunteers to join the team on Saturday 26th September in Bury St Edmunds. Whether you can spare a couple of hours or get stuck in for more of the day, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for help with everything from setting up and packing down, stewarding and wristband checks, to photography, videography, flyering and collecting donations.

RoomsFest is a grassroots event bringing together live music, local people and our community to raise vital funds for The Hunter Club and Rehearsal Rooms. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without people giving their time to help make them happen so get stuck in!
