Thanks so much to all the lovely people of Stanton, who once again made our annual Village Show such a success! Special thanks to the businesses who contributed to our fund-raising raffle enabling free entry to the show, and of course our team of organisers and others (including some non-Stanton residents, and village hall committee) who gave up their precious time to set up and put away. But the stars have to be the exhibits and exhibitors, without whom we wouldn’t have a show. More pictures and results to follow.

Today’s the day! Exhibits can be brought to us between 8am and 9.45am. We have spare entry forms, and helpers on hand to guide entrants to the right table. Judging takes place behind closed doors; all judges are non-residents of Stanton. We open the show to the public at 2pm. Admission is free, and we have refreshments and a grand draw with some wonderful prizes donated by many local businesses. We look forward to seeing everyone 😊

What a day it was! Big thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of yesterday’s show, too many to name here. As always, it was free to visitors, mainly due to the generous donations from individuals and the following local businesses; Hillcrest Nurseries and Cafe, Woosters, Celia’s, FLP Motors, Cuttin Room, Wyken Vineyards, Stanton Post Office, and Upthorpe Lodges.
