Performing Arts

When you enrol on one of our performing arts courses, you will develop your talents, gain confidence in performing and benefit from lecturers with industry links and experience. We work in partnership with the British Youth Film Academy, Lichfield Festival and the Regent Theatre, so we know what it takes to compete in this demanding and exciting field. As part of your study programme, we will prepare you for the professional world by developing your industry knowledge and providing opportunities for you to perform in shows for assessment. You will also have the opportunity to perform on stage for the College at various locations. Career options

Yesterday marked the final performance of our End of Year Cabaret Showcase, and what a special way it was to end the year. ❤️🎭

It was an emotional evening as we celebrated the incredible talent, dedication, and growth of all our students, while also saying our final goodbyes to those who won’t be returning next year. Watching you all shine on stage has been a privilege, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything you’ve achieved this year.

To our students who are moving on, thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the passion you’ve brought to BSDC. We wish you every success in your next chapter—you’ll always be part of the BSDC family.

To everyone returning, and to those joining us for the first time, have a wonderful summer. We can’t wait to see you all in September for another exciting year of performing, learning, and making more unforgettable memories.

Round 3 of progression for our leaving students ✨

Lily and Lilly are heading to Leeds Conservatoire, where they’ll continue to refine and develop their skills as they prepare for careers in the industry. 🎶

Emily will be progressing on to a role at the Pavilion as a party host, taking her next exciting step forward. 🎉

We’re so proud to see these three students continue their journey with BSDC. Louis and Daisy are progressing into Higher Education in partnership with Staffordshire University, while Az will be returning as a Technical Theatre student to further develop their skills and explore new areas of the industry.

It’s that time of year again as we begin to say goodbye to our incredible second-year students. As they prepare for their next chapter, we want to take a moment to celebrate their progression journeys and the exciting opportunities ahead.

🎬 Harry and Ethan will be attending MetFilm Leeds, where they will continue to develop their passion for film and creative media.

đź“š Katie will be continuing her studies at Kristian Thomas College, further expanding her knowledge and skills as she works towards her future goals.

We are so proud of everything they have achieved during their time with us and can’t wait to see where their journeys take them next. Congratulations to you all, and we wish you every success for the future!
