We believe in the power of music.

This summer, Burton Kia is proud to be putting that belief on wheels.

Thanks to Harry and Dale at Burton Kia, Sonic Boom Music CIC have the keys to an all-electric Kia PV5 Cargo van that will actually power Sonic Boom busk stops*.

Pop-up performances, live and DJs. Scheduled stops and surprise ones. Music where you least expect it.

Burton is a town that backs its community. This is us doing exactly that.

RUMBLE 3: 25th July · Burton Library · Burton upon Trent

Made You Look / Made You Stare started as friends jamming in a rehearsal room. Four releases in, they’re one of Burton’s most exciting alt-rock acts - clever, hook-laden, and impossible to pin down. This is their first full band hometown gig. Burton, this one’s yours.

Dirt Bloom hit different. Grunge grit meets pop-punk hooks meets riffs that feel urgent and alive. A sound that’s both nostalgic and completely their own.

Flamehead are back - and they’ve rebuilt. The new lineup brings together members of three of Burton’s most significant bands. If you know, you know. If you don’t, you’re about to.

Three bands. One night. All original music.

The support for these shows has been something else. Burton’s music community is showing up - buying tickets early, spreading the word, filling rooms. That matters more than people realise. Every person through the door is proof that this town backs its artists.

Had a great day with some of our Sonic Boom Spark artists yesterday at Bearded Theory Festival.

The Spark programme is all about assisting local creative people with skills, knowledge and opportunities.
