We’re closing early today… but we’ve got a very good reason. We’re busy getting the Brewhouse ready to become an official SonicBoom.org.uk Aftershock venue tomorrow night.

And yes, we’re turning the volume all the way up to 11. From 8.45pm, the Sonic Boom Rock Bar, in association with Riff Riot Promotions, takes over the Brewhouse with three brilliant live acts:

When the main stage winds down, we turn it up. From 9pm, our Rock Bar Aftershock takes over with Joseph Hooligan, Floodhounds and Tealdeer, bringing a night of loud live punk, rock and metal to Burton.

You never know where music might take you.

Today, SonicBoom.org.uk is taking it one step further, with live performances popping up at secret locations across Burton from 11am.

Keep an eye out for Rosie Faith music and Star From Ivy and other local artists, as the Sonic Boom van brings live music into unexpected places.

And if today leaves you wanting more, the music doesn’t stop here. Sonic Boom Festival takes over Burton Market Place on 12 September, with Aftershock venues including the Brewhouse keeping things going into the night.
