🐾 The Staffy Trail is Live

The Staffy Trail officially launched last month, celebrating Staffordshire Bull Terriers through a vibrant public art trail designed to bring communities together and encourage visitors to explore.
The project is a brilliant example of how creative trails can create conversation, increase footfall and generate real excitement across a location.

🧶 Burton’s Bollards – A Colourful, Woolly Trail

One of our most community-led projects to date, Burton’s Bollards transformed everyday street bollards into colourful knitted and crocheted works of art.

The trail showcased the creativity of local makers while adding colour, character and a real sense of fun to the streetscape.

We’re so thrilled with the feedback for this trail Visit Amber Valley and delighted that our ducks have new homes! Please follow our page for new trails!

🦆 You’ve taken them to your hearts and made our ducks feel right at home in Amber Valley.

Now it’s time for the flock to stretch their wings (just a little…)

Following the huge success of the Ay Up Me Duck Trail, the large eight ducks will be heading off to new homes across Amber Valley from today, where some of our brilliant parks, attractions and venues will be looking after them for the summer.

Here’s where you’ll be able to find them next:

🦆 Ayup Belper! – Belper River Gardens
🦆 Duk n Luv – Shipley Country Park Visitor Centre, Heanor
🦆 Sunset over Amber Valley – Crossley Park, Ripley
🦆 Ayup Duck in Derbyshire – National Tramway Museum, Crich (to be installed over the coming weeks)
🦆 This view is all it's quacked up to be and Amber Sun – Midland Railway - Butterley
🦆 Derwent Duck – Ripley Town Hall (to be installed over the coming weeks)
🦆 Bee-ky – Alfreton Indoor Markett (to be installed over the coming weeks)

These locations are temporary until September, when the ducks will once again be on the move. As always, we’ll keep you updated on where they’re heading next.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the trail so far, from visiting the ducks and sharing photos, to supporting the businesses involved. It’s been brilliant seeing just how much people have fallen in love with them and, with the ducks staying in Amber Valley, there’s still plenty of chance to go and visit them over the summer.
