‘The Last Glance’ was inspired by the title of our exhibition and reflects upon losing my grandmother recently. It is based on the last photo that was taken of her; I combined her wrinkles with the veins of a leaf to show that she is now one with nature. The process of creation helped me to understand and accept the fact that she’s not with us anymore and it also shows my respect toward her. This artwork can be seen among other of my creations at The Brewhouse Arts Centre until 27th April.

A very personal portrait is in the making for our degree exhibition, which will be open from 20/04/2023 in Burton-on-Trent. Details are coming.

'Petra', White watercolour ink on black Grafix craft plastic. 12x12 inch.
This artwork was inspired by Oriol Angrill Jorda's 'Marble Skin' but I used a different technique and slightly different mediums (oriolangrill). Because of the fumes of alcohol ink, I started to experiment with watercolour on plastic surfaces to see if a similar effect can be achieved.
