Fifteen years in and the feeling has not faded one bit.

We still get that same buzz every time a new application lands in our inbox especially from start up businesses makers and crafters taking their very first steps. There is something genuinely special about being trusted at the beginning of someone’s journey when ideas are still fresh hands are still learning and everything feels possible.

What makes it even more meaningful is how often we hear the same story We came to Whalley Artisan Market and it inspired us to get crafty. That moment of walking through the stalls seeing creativity up close chatting with makers and suddenly thinking I could do this too.

That is the bit we never tire of.

Because Crafty Vintage is not just about events or markets it is about momentum. It is about turning inspiration into action, hobby into hustle and ideas into something real that can be shared with others.

Over the years we have watched home crafters become confident traders weekend hobbyists grow into full time creatives and small start ups take their first brave step into the world of markets and retail. And every single one of those journeys starts the same way with a spark.

So if you have been to one of our markets and felt that little nudge that maybe I could feeling trust it. That is how it all begins.

Here is to the makers the dreamers the first time stallholders and everyone still working on their dream. We cannot wait to see what you create next.

See you soon at Whalley Artisan Market

⚠️ ST ANNES ARTISAN MARKET – EVENT CANCELLED ⚠️

After carefully monitoring the weather forecasts and conditions on site, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow's St Annes Artisan Market.

Strong and persistent wind gusts are forecast throughout the day, and while we always do everything possible to go ahead with our events, the safety of our traders, visitors, and staff must come first.

We know this will be disappointing news for many of you, especially our wonderful traders who have spent time preparing for the event. However, we feel this is the most responsible decision given the forecast conditions.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you back to St Annes soon in much safer and more enjoyable weather.

Please share this post to help spread the word.

St Annes Monthly Artisan Market is back this Saturday bringing together local makers, independent traders, handmade goods, street food and small batch produce all in one place. It’s the kind of market built for wandering rather than rushing, where you end up chatting to stallholders, trying things you didn’t plan to, and circling back because you spotted something you missed the first time.

With the many attractions on offer St Annes easily turns the visit into a full day out:

Independent shops along St Annes town centre for unique finds, gifts and small businesses you won’t get on the high street chains

Ashton Gardens for a calm green space for a walk, sit down or a breather

St Annes Beach & Promenade for a proper seaside stroll with fresh air and open views

Little Links Golf Par 3 Pitch and Putt for a relaxed bit of fun that doesn’t take itself too seriously

Splash Park for an easy win with kids and a good energy burn, pre book 24hours in advance.

Everything sits close enough that the day naturally unfolds without needing to plan it too tightly, with the market right at the heart of it.

See you soon 🥰

Special thanks to for continued help and support

Looking forward to seeing you all next Saturday 😍

Loving these photographs from last Sunday at the Whalley Artisan Market they show just how much of a social hub it has become in the heart of the Ribble Valley, with makers creators and friendly faces all coming together creating a brilliant atmosphere as people catch up browse the stalls and take their time enjoying the market, live entertainment and vibe. 🥰

Market Research

We came for the markets and Malaga delivered. Outdoor stalls stacked with handmade bucket hats and sundresses under a sky that does not quit.

Shell garlands and welcome signs swaying in the palm shade. And then the big one, Mercado Central de Atarazanas, all soaring ironwork and stained glass, heaving with locals and tourists shoulder to shoulder.

The food halls are where it really sings. Durian and jackfruit the size of your head. Cocoa pods straight off the boat. Olives in every shade you can imagine and a few you cannot, scooped fresh by the kilo.

Different country, same heartbeat. Independent traders, real produce, proper buzz. The kind of energy we live for.

Notes taken. Inspiration absolutely stolen. More to come.

Breaking: local market ambushed by a chicken. 🐔

We arrived this week to discover the Colonel had crept over in the night and draped a giant greasy bird right across our Whalley Monthly Artisan Market sign. No note. No flowers. Just a battered sandwich the size of a small caravan, smothering nearly twenty years of local trading like a duvet of regret.

So we did the only sensible thing. We peeled him off and sent him packing.

Listen, Colonel. We have got vintage, art, handmade crafts, street food, fresh produce and proper live music. You have got a bucket, a bib and a list of herbs you refuse to talk about. One of us is hiding something, and it is not the people selling hand thrown pottery.

We are still here. Still independent. Still flying the flag for . No drive thru, no soggy fries, no mystery meat that has seen things.

📍 Last Sunday of every month, Swan Pub car park. Next one Sunday 28th June. Come and find the good stuff that does not arrive in a cardboard bucket with a moist towelette.
