Thanks to everyone who joined us at Towneley Park over the last few days. Was it the hottest Wakes Fair ever? It sure felt like it! Maybe we'll have to invest in a log flume for next year 💦🤣

We'll back in Burnley next July, but before that you can enjoy Blackburn Easter Fair at Witton Park in March. Enjoy the rest of your summer everyone! ☀️

HOT! HOT! HOT! 🌞 We'd love you to come and have some fun in the sun with us this weekend at Towneley Park, but here's a few tips for enjoying all the fun of the fair without melting:

• Slap on the suncream (obvs) and reapply if you're here for more than an hour or two.
• Bring some water, or buy a cold drink from one of our kiosks. Slush also available!
• We have several undercover attractons where you can escape the sun such as the Waltzer. Dodgems, Ice Palace, Fun House etc.
• Towneley Park also has lots of tree-lined paths where you can take a walk and cool off for a bit.

Opening times are as follows (please note we may close a bit earlier if it's very hot and the fair is quiet):

• Sat 1-9;30pm (just in time for the ⚽️)
• Sun 1-7pm
• Mon 5:30-9:30pm

Above all, enjoy yourself, but take it easy! ✌️
