What a summer!

Starting out with visual arts workshops with the amazing Ellie Barrett to co-create new public art with young people for Burnley town centre. Stay tuned for more on that one!

Then starting our Creative HYPE project with Culturapedia and Accrington Library supported by Lancashire County Council and

And last, but definitely not least!, delivering our SPARK: Young Producers training. This culminated in a showcase event attended by local partners from Burnley Youth Theatre HAD & CO | Architecture | Planning Permission | Appeals Burnley Mechanics Theatre Culturapedia & Burnley Civic Trust.

We met some great young creatives & can’t wait to support their next steps over the coming months!

What a fab start to our SPARK: Young Producers training. Everyone got stuck in with zine making to share their creative passions & hopes for a creative career. Can’t wait to keep working with this group over the next two weeks and see where it takes us.

Our next Open Mic night is fast approaching.

Returning next week at Burnley Mechanics Theatre with our most varied group of performers yet. We’ve got comedy, dance, music and more.

Designed and led by young people for young people, this night showcases some of Burnley’s best creative young talent.

What a fab day for the first ever ‘Beyond the Frame’ event. The young volunteers group created a costume box for everyone to enjoy in the Regency Room with free professional photo portraits. So proud of the team, more photos to follow!

📣 Announcing the launch of Towneley Hall’s brand new regency dress up.

Join us on bank holiday Monday for the launch event where children (and adults!) can dress up in the regency rooms and have a free* professional portrait photo taken.

*normal entry fee to the Hall applies

Last week we had a wonderful workshop with photographer Grace Blizzard at Nelson and Colne College📸

We first spent some time understanding best practice and the “decisive moment” before heading out and about around the campus to see where inspiration struck.
