Burnley ViewPoint exists to celebrate the people, places and stories that make our town what it is.

The everyday stories, achievements, memories and experiences that don't get the platform they deserve.

That's why we're crowdfunding for a new printed edition focused on uncovering hidden stories from across Burnley.

Every pledge helps us publish more local voices, support new contributors and distribute 1,000 free copies across the town.

We're now in the final stretch of the campaign.

One of the things we're most proud of at Burnley ViewPoint is creating opportunities for people to try something new, build confidence and share their stories.

For Holly, being part of the editorial team has been a chance to develop new skills, grow as a writer and contribute to projects that celebrate Burnley and its communities.

The next edition of Burnley ViewPoint will help us support even more people through writing and journalism workshops, creating opportunities for new voices to be heard.

We are crowdfunding to create another printed version of the Burnley ViewPoint!

"The online edition has got people interested, and the printed version has got people excited."

When we produced the first printed edition of Burnley ViewPoint, copies quickly disappeared from libraries, cafés and community spaces across Burnley. People took them home, shared them with friends and saw their town reflected back at them through stories, memories and experiences.

Now we're crowdfunding for a second printed edition, focused on uncovering hidden stories from across Burnley and supporting new contributors through journalism and writing workshops.

We're in the final stretch, with less than £900 left to raise.

Join us this World Book Night at Burnley Library for a relaxed evening celebrating the joy of reading ✨

We’ll be unveiling two brand new portable murals commissioned by Burnley Words Festival, inspired by Burnley’s Favourite Books, alongside an exhibition of creative responses from local writers.

Expect a warm, community feel with time to chat, connect, and enjoy a handful of short live readings throughout the evening.
