🧚‍♀️✨ There are festivals… and then there are places that feel like home. ✨🧚‍♂️

The New Forest Fairy Festival has never been just an event.

It is a gathering of hearts, a celebration of wonder, and a community built on kindness, imagination, folklore, nature, and magic.

Every August, people travel from across the UK and around the world to be part of something truly special. Not because of what they see, but because of what they feel.

A sense of belonging.

A sense of joy.

A reminder that magic still exists.

Year after year, families return. Children who once arrived holding their parents’ hands now bring their own little fairies and elves to experience the wonder. Our loyal exhibitors return, our performers return, and many of our incredible team members have been by our side since the very beginning.

That is something rare.

That is something precious.

And it is something we never take for granted.

To every visitor, every volunteer, every performer, every exhibitor, every member of our fairy family—thank you. You have helped create a place where people can escape the noise of the world and reconnect with what truly matters: laughter, friendship, creativity, nature, and the magic that lives within us all.

As we welcome the energy of the Year of the Horse, we are reminded to move forward with humility, embrace positive change, and allow our creativity to soar. It is a year that encourages us to dream, to grow, and to gallop towards new adventures with an open heart.

A quick note regarding Carer Tickets:

Each year we provide a large number of complimentary carer tickets, and we are now very close to reaching our allocation. These tickets must be applied for before the festival and applications will close once we reach capacity, which is expected very soon.

If you require a carer ticket, we strongly encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Please note that carer tickets will not be issued at the festival.

🎟️ Saturday Final Release Tickets are also running low!

We cannot stress enough how important it is to purchase a ticket in advance. This is the only way to guarantee entry to the festival.

We have been truly overwhelmed by the incredible support from our visitors. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every member of our fairy community for continuing to support this independent festival. A truly magical new experience is arriving at the New Forest Fairy Festival this 8th & 9th August...

Beneath the branches of the Mighty Oak, through a whimsical archway woven with enchantment, you'll discover a sacred space where memories are made and magic is celebrated.

🌿 Fairy Naming Ceremonies

Choose your magical destiny - be named as a Fairy , Mermaid, Witch/ Wizard or Moon Guardian . Each Participant receives a unique magical name, a beautiful designed certificate, a special promise , a heartfelt blessing and a magical keepsake chosen by the fairies

Adult £10 Child £5 (5-6 mins)

✨ Friendship Ceremonies

Celebrate the magic of Friendship. Gather your friends or family to receive a unicorn blessing, exchange friendship bracelets and take home a certificate to remeber your magical bond.

£ 10 per Person (10-15 minutes)

🦋 Family Magic Ceremonies

Create a Family festival memory together. Join the Fairy God Mother celebrant for a magical 15 minute family ceremony inspired by the days theme. Each family member receives a special magical name, your share a heartfelt family promise, enjoy a unicorn friendship blessinf and whisper wishes into the wishing well. Includes one family certificate and a small gift each chosen by the fairies.

£25 per family (15 minutes)

💞 Fairy Handfastings

Celebrate your love with a magical fairy hand fasting led by the Faiiiiiry Godmother Celebrant. Share your fairy vows, have your hands gently bound with colourful ribbons (each with its own meaning) and seal your promise with a joyful broomstick jump. A whimsical, heartfelt ceremony, perfect for couples who want a little festival magic in their day. Includes a hand fasting certificate, the ribbon knot and a small gift.

£25 per couple. (15-25 minutes)

Whether you're welcoming a little fairy into the world, celebrating a treasured friendship, honouring your family bond, or declaring your love in a magical handfasting, the Fairy Godmother is ready to weave a little enchantment into your special moment.

Each ceremony is lovingly crafted to create memories that will sparkle long after the festival ends.
