❤️ A little update on our roof fundraiser…

We’re getting closer, but there’s still a way to go. After weeks with very little rain, we’re concerned that the weather is now turning against us, which makes replacing the damaged section of roof even more urgent.

If you’re able to donate, we would really appreciate any support, no matter how small. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing our GoFundMe is incredibly helpful.

The good news is that, thanks to your generosity, a donation from the residents of Buckley Jubilee Court, and grant funding we've secured, we've now raised nearly half the money needed for the partial roof replacement. 🎭

The planning application for our new dressing rooms is now on the FCC website. Please have a look, and please comment!🙏🏻🙏🏻. Our new changing rooms are integral to the theatre, and without them we cannot function. They are really, really important. Please take the time to give your support. The consultation period closes on the 7th August, and it's planning ref FUL/000542/26 Thank you

A planning application has been submitted to Flintshire Council for upgrades at Hawkesbury Little Theatre in Buckley.

We're delighted to share that we've now submitted our planning application to Flintshire County Council for new changing room facilities at Hawkesbury Little Theatre.

This is an important step in helping to future-proof our much-loved theatre for generations to come. At the moment, we have no dedicated changing room facilities, we want to create permanent, fit for purpose space for our performers and volunteers.

Last year, due to time constraints, we had to hire a marquee to use as changing rooms. This year, instead of spending our budget on a temporary solution, we're investing in a permanent one that will benefit the theatre for many years to come.

Our small team of volunteers has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to help secure the theatre's future, and we're so pleased to be another step closer to making this vision a reality.

We genuinely believe these plans are the perfect solution for our needs. They've been carefully designed to provide practical facilities while respecting the local area, and we can't wait to see them become a reality.

The generous contributions and support we've received from our community and funding partners are helping us invest in the long-term future of Hawkesbury Little Theatre, ensuring it remains a thriving community asset that's available for everyone to enjoy for many years to come.
