As some of you may have noticed, I have taken a break from the shop for the last month although the paints at homes orders have still been going strong.
I opened the business 6 weeks before lockdown struck and I honestly thought my little venture had ended before it had even begun, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. What with not being able to open the shop, the idea of the paint at home kits was born and have continued to be very popular ever since.
Now that the demand of paint at home kits has exceeded shop bookings I have taken the decision to concentrate on those and close the shop and continue glazing and firing your pieces in my workshop. This will also allow me to spend more time with my little ones at the weekends, something I was really missing out on and hopefully keep costs lower for all my customers.
I can’t thank you enough for supporting me and my little business. It has been an absolute pleasure to meet each and everyone of you, big and small!
Thank you so much to my many repeat customers, Kate at Bagsy me first for keeping me busy thoughout lockdown and especially Christmas, for being there when i needed a good cry/laugh when it was all just a little too busy (but honestly thank you all for all your lovely orders!), Sarah and Jane at The Nimble Thimble Buckingham, thank you both so much for all your help and support, I will miss our chats but will still be popping in! A huge thank you to Emily Hilling if it wasn’t for you I would never have even dreamt of taking the leap to run my own shop so thank you for encouraging me to go for it.
A humongous thank you to my amazing husband for believing in me , for always being my biggest supporter and shoulder to lean on. For helping me to set up the business and being my general slave, without you none of this would have been possible. 💕
And the biggest thank you has to go to you lovely lot! Thank you for your orders, for sharing my posts, spreading the word and allowing me to spend time with you and your precious families creating beautiful memories and keepsakes. You kept Tiny Ceramics going when the whole world had stopped, so thank thank you, from the bottom of my heart for keeping my business alive through the hardest times. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
