An AMAZING bunch of young performers 16-21

If you fancy coming along to watch a production by a group of fantastic young people and to see a bit of directing from me, we’d love to see you this week.

Some of our Little Voices have been involved in the kids shows with this group and I know have really enjoyed it.

These classes are a GORGEOUS introduction to the performing arts! 🎭

When your little one joins one of our Mini Voices classes, they’ll be part of a small group based on their friendships and ability.

And because we know that children in this age group have short attention spans, we’ve taken that into careful consideration when designing these singing and drama classes for our very youngest pupils.

So while our classes are jam-packed with fun, we’ll also be cleverly tapping into your child’s concentration and learning abilities. 🎓

Over the weeks you’ll see their talents being gently nurtured, and their communication skills coming on leaps and bounds.

They’ll also work towards LAMDA’s Introductory Communication Exams (trust us, they’ll love the whole experience!).

Thank you so much to everyone who came to support our show over the last couple of days!

Our young cast had a blast and I’m sure you’ll agree, put on a fab performance. They worked so hard and loved showing you all. They certainly are a talented bunch and it’s lovely to celebrate all the positives there are in our young people.

We are still counting up what we raised for Helen & Douglas House Hospice and will let you know what the final amount is soon.

Now we wish you all a well deserved rest and a fabulous rest of summer. ❤️

Buckingham Young Performers are putting on a charity production of Matilda the Musical Jr at the Roxburgh Theatre, Stowe. 100% of ticket sales will go towards Helen & Douglas House Hospice so you will be having fun AND helping to raise money for this deserving charity.

We are having such a good time rehearsing for this show! What an amazing group of young people we are having the privilege of working with and some fabulous young choreographers working with us too.

So excited to kick off our community musical theatre project today. We have an amazing cast of young people and are really looking forward to showing you all what the young people of buckingham and the surrounding areas are capable of!!

All profits made from this show of Matilda Jr will go to Helen & Douglas House. Please keep 2nd or 3rd of august free to come and support a hugely worthy cause.

Well, all we can say is that we have some AMAZING young people in and around Buckingham. We should be very proud as a town!

Thank you to each and every young performer who came to meet us and audition today, we hope you had fun. Thank you for pushing yourselves and I know , in some cases, really putting yourselves outside your comfort zones, you should be very proud.

We are going to have an incredible cast because every single person who shared something with us today put everything they had into it.

You have given us a hard job and we are going to spend a few days making our decisions. But we are incredibly excited to get working on what is going to be a fantastic experience.

Can’t wait to see you all again soon. ❤️

So excited to meet everyone tomorrow for our auditions. We plan on having a LOT of FUN, after all, that’s what performing should be about.

Our aim is for everyone to enjoy themselves so come prepared for a bit of dancing, but of singing, bit of acting and lots of laughing!
