🎨 SEPTEMBER ART MEETING — CREATIVE LANDSCAPES

We’re delighted to welcome Deborah Last to our September evening meeting for a session on Creative Landscapes.

Join us for an inspiring evening exploring a more creative approach to landscape art with Deborah.

In this demo Deborah will be exploring what it means to find your own creative voice. She will be showing her own work, demonstrating some ways to creatively play and giving an opportunity for us to join in. Please bring a sketchbook and some drawing materials if you would like to follow along.

Our evening Art Meetings are open to everyone, so if you’re interested in art but haven’t been to BAFA before, this is a lovely opportunity to come along and meet us.

Fancy a couple of hours to paint, draw, create and enjoy the company of other local artists?

Tonight 14th July 7.30pm- Following on from the indoor session focusing on 'En Plein Air' in May we will venture into the wilds of Buckingham. Guided by John Whitehead, as a base, we will meet at the Community Centre (Verdetto is still a work-in-progress), and later show our various 'en plein air' achievements back at the Centre. The Centre will be stewarded during the outdoor time. Bring your own materials - pens, pencils, paper, canvas, charcoal, pastels, paints, whichever you want to try out. And a plastic bag, just in case the seats are damp!

🎨 Thank You for a Wonderful Evening of Life Drawing! 🎨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at BAFA’s Tuesday Evening get together for Emily Brady’s inspiring Life Drawing session.

It was fantastic to see so many members enjoying the opportunity to develop their drawing skills in such a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Thank you to Emily for sharing her expertise and guidance throughout the evening, and to Gabby for being such an excellent model.

Thank you to all who attended and helped make the evening such a success. We look forward to welcoming you back to future BAFA sessions.

📅 Please note that the venue for our July Tuesday evening is still to be confirmed, as Verdetto is not yet open. We will share details as soon as arrangements have been finalised.

🎨 BAFA Tuesday Evening Art Group – 9 June, 7.30pm 🎨

Join us at Buckingham Community Centre for a special Life Drawing Session guided by the talented Emily Brady, supported by her model Gabby.

This is a wonderful opportunity to develop your observational drawing and painting skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Please bring your own art materials, whether you prefer drawing or painting. Tables and chairs will be available.

Many of you may remember Emily from previous BAFA events and from her time teaching at Buckingham Art School. Emily is a multimedia figurative artist and illustrator with nearly 20 years of teaching experience. She has taught Life Drawing and a wide range of art classes for organisations including Canvas Art School, Buckingham Art School, Vitreus Art and Engenius Tuition, as well as running her own independent classes and clubs for adults and children.

Emily’s work draws inspiration from both traditional artistic influences and the vibrant worlds of animation and comic books, making for an engaging and inspiring session.

We look forward to seeing you there for an enjoyable evening of creativity and artistic exploration!
