It’s the last week of term before the summer holidays!

We know lots of our dancers are going to miss dancing with their friends every week but fear not we have 4 weeks of camps running for P1’s and above at JHM and Nu Moves- see other posts for details!

Last day of term is Saturday the 27th June and all classes return on Monday the 3rd of August! ❤️

It is time to announce our 2026 Senior Sally Dennis Genre Awards🏆🩷

JHM staff all nominate pupils for the 3 main awards and our smaller genre awards each year. These awards are for pupils who have been shining in class and are the most improved. From the nominations our SDA winners are chosen.🏆

✨Success Story✨

We are thrilled to announce that senior pupil and 2026 leaver Leon has earned his place at Laine Theatre Arts this September!

Leon has shown incredible commitment, talent and drive throughout his training, and it has been fantastic to watch him grow in both confidence and performance quality.

We are so proud of everything Leon has achieved so far and have no doubt that he is going places. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for him — congratulations, Leon!❤️

Dancers we have dance workshops to keep you moving, dancing and making memories with your dance friends this summer!

Workshops are running from 10am–1pm each day and are suitable for anyone going into S1 and above.

Last night we held our Sally Dennis Awards and now It’s time to announce our main 3 2026 SDA Winners……

Our overall winner is someone who works exceptionally hard all year round and is always going above and beyond to better themselves as a dancer, support those around them and for embodying everything we stand for here at JHM.

We would like to congratulate our 2026 Overall Winner… Grace🏆
Well done Grace, we are so very proud of you! Keep up the great work💗

Our Social Star award goes to someone who really gets involved, helps in anyway they can and is always making sure everyone is feeling included in and out of class⭐️
