We meet every Tuesday evening in Eastern Primary School, Broughty Ferry. We welcome new members AIMS: We want to promote and encourage the enjoyment, study, practice and development, by young people, of traditional Scottish music and other related music. We provide an opportunity for young people to experience the joy of playing traditional music within a group - and enjoyment of the music is our
main aim. We perform in concerts which is great experience for the members and also helps with fundraising. OTHER INFO: New members will normally have received a minimum of about two years' instrumental tuition, but if the child is interested in traditional music, it's unlikely that we would put them off by turning them away. Although the fiddle is the main instrument, other compatible instruments ( viola, cello, guitar, flutes, in fact any melody instrument) are more than welcome.
