🍉 Keeping Our Volunteers Fuelled! 💦

We want to send a massive thank you to Gemma at The Spar on Broad Street for her generosity on Saturday! Gemma kindly organised and donated food and water for all our volunteers for the day to keep everyone fueled up and raring to go.

We also want to say a huge thank you to Waitrose for topping this up with plenty of fresh fruit and extra water—with the heat on Saturday, we definitely needed all the water we could get! ☀️

Our volunteers work tirelessly all day to make the Carnival happen, and we are so grateful to both Gemma at the Spa on Broad Street and Waitrose for looking after the team so brilliantly. Thank you! ❤️

The banners have been taken down now, but we want to make sure these businesses get the credit they deserve. Every single penny raised from these sponsorships went directly right back into creating this amazing community event for everyone to enjoy.

⚽️ Football Update for Tonight ⚽️

We are truly sorry to say that there will be no football showing in the park tonight.

Our team just could not stretch to that in the short time we had to organise on the busy run-up to the Carnival. On top of that, the costs involved were just too high, and as a committee, we simply don't have the funds to pay for the shortfall this year.

We are really gutted that we haven't been able to make it happen this time around!

We hope you still join us to enjoy the rest of the evening wherever you end up watching the game!

What an amazing atmosphere today! 🌞🎉

Please can we remind all of our guests to stay hydrated and take regular brakes in the shaded areas around the park. And most of all, ENJOY!!!! 🌞🎉

We will be here until 7.30pm with live entertainment on the main stage so if it's slightly too hot right now, we'd love to see you later when its cooled down a little 😀
