If you have a couple of hours free each week and would like to meet more people this is the perfect role for you.

Can you volunteer to help our team?
Our lovely booker has had to move on so we’re looking for someone new.

Someone who can manage the Recreation Centre diary, manage bookings and send invoices.
We also have a new IT system coming in that will help make everything slick and swift! You’ll be able to help us design the system if that’s your thing.

We are really keen to fill the vacant committee roles so please help us if you can!

Our volunteer team is made up of many roles but the Facilities Manager is one of the most a critical. It’s absolutely essential to the continued operation and smooth running of the facility.
The previous occupier of the role has done a wonderful job and is very happy to do a full handover so you won’t be left in the dark!
You can also have a chat and just see if the role is right for you.

You might be retired and looking for a way to fill you time?
Or you just have a little bit of free time and want to get to know the people in the village a bit better.
It’s a great way to meet new people!

We’re looking for new volunteer members to join our committee and, whilst all skills are welcome, we’re specifically looking to fill 2 roles- a Facilities Manager and a Secretary.

We’re very excited to have raised sufficient funds to replace our leaking roof!!

We now need a building surveyor and an electrician to support the main contractor.

If you can offer your services on a mate’s rates basis please get in touch as we’d love to work with local suppliers.

West Mercia Police

Due to the increase in anti social behaviour at the Rec- including the lad who saw fit to throw the picnic tables around in a temper (yes we saw you on the CCTV)- there will be an increase in police presence on the grounds in the evenings.

Unfortunately we’re not allowed to show you the stills from the CCTV due to GDPR, which is a shame, but we do pass it onto the police.

Welcome Jacqui Smith & Madeley Cottage Interiors 👋

Do you fancy learning a new skill? Or do you have an old piece of furniture that you don’t want to part with but could do with some TLC.

Join our friendly workshops based in belbroughton. What you create/restore is completely up to you but jacqui will guide you and teach you everything you need to know.

Current classes are Tuesdays 9.30am-1pm with more dates/times and evening classes being introduced based on demand.
