We’re looking for solo acoustic musicians to busk at Broadstairs Food Festival, 2-4 October 2026.

You’ll have a 30-minute slot beside the festival bar, with a small PA provided for vocals and guitar, and a crowd eating, drinking and listening throughout the day.

We’d love to hear from experienced performers as well as up-and-coming artists looking for their first taste of festival busking 👀

But this is a whole new way to enjoy it! Sushi Pops puts a British spin on Japanese food, serving sushi in clever little push-pops made for eating on the go.

Previously only available in New York, founders Emma and Nacho have brought the viral concept to the UK. And now it’s heading seaside 🌊

We’re looking for lovely volunteers to help us at this autumn’s Food Festival, 2-4 October 2026.

Whether it’s selling raffle tickets, rattling donation buckets or guiding visitors around, our extended team is essential to making the event run smoothly.

It doesn’t matter if you can’t commit to the whole festival, even helping out for half a day would be much appreciated.

As a thank you, you’ll receive free refreshment vouchers and our heartfelt gratitude for supporting both the festival and the wider community 🫶

For the autumn festival, we’re opening up a limited number of Emerging Trader Pitches, giving newer food & drink businesses the chance to experience Broadstairs Food Festival without committing to the full weekend.

Already doing smaller markets and wondering how your products would fare with a bigger audience? This is a chance to give it a go, get your name out there and pick up some festival experience along the way.

Pitches are £150 + VAT (£180 total) for a single day, with a table and complimentary 13-amp power supply included.

You’ll need to have your own public and product liability insurance, plus all relevant food hygiene registrations, checks and certificates in place. Food & drink businesses only.

📅 Applications close: Wednesday 26 August

Everything tastes better by the sea 🌊

The Broadstairs Food Festival returns to Victoria Gardens, Broadstairs (CT10 1QL) from 2 to 4 October 2026.

Getting here is easy:

—Train:
Broadstairs station is around a 10-minute walk away, with regular Southeastern services from London and across Kent.

—Bus:
Hop off at The Royal Albion Hotel, Albion Street or Queens Road (Wrotham Arms), all just a short stroll from the festival.

—Car:
Use CT10 1QL for your sat nav. There are public car parks across Broadstairs, plus free parking along Western Esplanade. We recommend arriving early, as the town gets busy over festival weekend.
