The Bristol Allsorts Choir

The Bristol Allsorts Choir The Barton Hill Choir is a group of people from all walks of life that come together to enjoy singing together. We laugh a lot and have to a nice time together.

We are a choir with fun and community at its heart. We don't take ourselves seriously, we just enjoy singing together. We perform too and sometimes we go to the pub or to each other's parties and events. We're really happy when someone comes to join us. Everyone is welcome!

I started a new teaching group in January called JAMMING FOR THE TERRIFIED. It's a project close to my heart and I'm loving it, and it seems so are the group members - thankfully!

The beginners group is up and running and we have a couple fo spaces. The intermediate group (for musicians familiar with chords but wanting a safe environment to practice and develop their skills) is waiting for 1 more person. Please do share and/or get in touch if interested (Messenger is best).

ATM groups take place at my home in Easton, BS5.

Thanks, Sarah

Hello :) xx
I didn't know how to share a post to here so put it in messages. Dont know if it turned up. Could we contact a nursing home maybe as a group to communicate with individuals in any way. Just chats or exchanging interests.
My nephew forwarded a post from where they are doing this on the wirral.
Ill try again today to post it on here.

Dear All, I've cancelled choir for the next couple of weeks which I think you'll all agree is the right thing to do. Lets support each other through this, socially, practically and musically and let's keep singing! Please use this FB page to post things and ask for help if you need it. Look after yourselves and stay safe. Sarah x

Thanks Chris Lucas for this lovely testemonial....."Joining the choir has had a huge, positive impact on my wellbeing. The other members are so welcoming and friendly and I cannot stress how much fun it is. You don’t have to be able to read music and you don’t have to ‘perform’. You can just come along and sing your heart out. Sarah really is the heart of the choir. She is patient, funny, a brilliant musician and every session is really uplifting. If you like singing and having fun, the Allsorts Choir is what you need in your life."
