Premiering on Saturday at our event “A Reel Revolution” 🔥 🎥 a brand new documentary short “The Cavern Club: Introducing Seizure Salad” takes a look at the founding of Exeter’s underground music venue The Cavern, and female punk rock band that play there, .salad.band. This short is the beginning of a wider project for the filmmakers - a full length doc about the venue, drawing on the owners’ personal archive of live performances there going back to the early 90s, including Muse, Coldplay and lots of punk. Seizure Salad’s feminist energy and misogyny-exposing lyrics shine forth in this brilliant short film put together by Luke Chadwick, Eddie Falvey and Dominic Deane, and we look forward to featuring them at A Reel Revolution!
