Disney’s Newsies Jr. Auditions!

Do you have a child or know a young person who loves performing?

Bridge Youth Theatre is holding auditions for its upcoming production of Disney’s Newsies Jr final auditions this Sunday

They’re looking for enthusiastic performers aged 9–18 who are eager to build their skills while working with experienced theatre professionals. The production will culminate in performances at the Redgrave Theatre this summer.

Audition Information
Audition Dates: Sunday 26 April (various workshop based on age)

Location: Ashton Park School, Blackmoors Lane, Bower Ashton, Bristol, BS3 2JL

Rehearsals commence from May half-term with occasional rehearsals on Thursday evenings & Sunday daytime.

Performances: 21–25 July at The Redgrave Theatre

Let’s take a moment…

In the whirlwind of last week, we didn’t manage to post about our very first Young Company production, who performed The Sound of Music in Cambridge last week.

The power and importance of youth theatre should never be underestimated. It is an incredible experience that deserves to be cherished and celebrated at every level.

If you were part of the production as a Young Company member, member of the creative or production team, or part of the band, we thank you for your involvement and dedication.

We have a busy audition season coming up in Bristol and Cambridge, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Three performances left across Friday and Saturday — and from what we saw last night, this cast is going to make every single one count. Our incredible young performers have worked so hard to bring this story to life, and the Great Hall at The Leys is the perfect setting for it.
