💚Enzie is winner of the inaugural Glenn Carmichael Award💚
Glenn Carmichael brought poetry slam to Bristol in the mid 90's and laid the foundation for what the spoken word scene in Bristol is today. In honour of his legacy, we've introduced the Glenn Carmichael award, which goes to the highest audience scored poet which this year goes to for her Top 3 performance at the Lyra Poetry Slam Finals.

Poetry Film Club is back!.
Tuesday 28th April featuring poetry films made by the Bristol Refugee Artists Collective created in LYRA - Bristol Poetry Festival workshops. Come and see the first screening of these films plus a selection of films from other poetry filmmakers including the first UK screening of Lucy English new film ‘Forever Chemicals’.

Please note the new venue for this month - YHA (two doors from the Arnolfini).
