But now, after having already seen Mortal Kombat 2 (2026), Aarron can confidently say that Johnny Cage works WAY better as a protagonist than Cole ever did. Johnny Cage feels far more natural within the Mortal Kombat universe thanks to his personality, attitude, and chemistry with the rest of the cast.
