You are welcome to attend our rehearsal on Thursday and just come and have a listen, or join in. Brilliant evening at last Thursday's rehearsal with the amazing Kitty Davies coaching us on performance of our newest song. Not only hugely instructive but also highly enjoyable! 👏👏👏
We've all come away with a better understanding of not just the song and the moves, but interpretation in general. Thank ewe, Kitty!
You will be able to see the first full "performance" of this at our joint concert with Thames Valley Chorus in Wokingham in October. Looking forward to it!

Introducing EWE2 - our newest small group!
EWE2 is comprised of Noey and Gillian (bass), Sue & Rhona (baritone), Sally & Sophie (lead), and Debbie & Ann (tenor). Last Thursday EWE2 had their maiden outing, singing an arrangement of Fleetwood Mac's The Chain. Fab-ewe-lous 👏👏👏

It was such sad news to hear that Dolly Parton passed away yesterday.

It's funny how events transpire. Singing at the wedding of our friend Lin a couple of weeks ago, we were entertained by the wonderful Kelly O'Brien, the world's best Dolly impersonator, who had Pete and some of the Sheep up on the floor performing with her. And it brought back memories of auditions we attended for a Gareth Malone show back in 2015. We were tasked with singing "our version" of Nine to Five which David, our MD at the time, arranged. We all dressed as secretaries with David as "the boss"! Thankfully we didn't get past the initial audition stage.

Rest in peace, Dolly, you will be sorely missed. 🕊️

An amazing evening for Pete and three Black Sheep on Wednesday at the UK Beatbox Championships Summer Jam and Choir Workshop. They worked alongside Rupert Oldridge the 2015 World Beatbox champion and ‘Bass Ventura’ the 2024 UK Beatbox champion. They came back to rehearsal buzzing (literally) last night and our warm up involved some beatboxing, unsurprisingly! Who can you spot in the photos?

What a wonderful afternoon/evening at ex-member Lin's wedding to Ron on Friday. It was also lovely to catch up with ex-member Maureen. We were the warm up act after the wedding breakfast and were swiftly followed by the amazing Dolly Parton, obviously not the real one but she was fab-ewe-lous darling! And those left danced the night away to "our sort of music" 😂.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Owen, we hope you will have many happy years together xx

Long standing member, Sophie, has become the first member to receive one of our new badges denoting 10 years in the chorus, from our chair Gillian Aghajan. Congratulations, Sophie! Ten years of harmonies, rehearsals, performances, laughter, friendship and plenty of fabulous singing. We’re so lucky to have you in the flock! ❤️
