Spilt Paint mini series - Got round to photographing my mini (A4) framed series, ready for sale at OPEN CANVAS 2026 ✨ I really have been snatching ten mins here and there to finish all the projects I have going on at the moment 🤯 and my lawd I am so ready for leggings and jumper season. Heatwave on the Moor ☀️ I finished off the painting that I started at on Saturday whilst promoting OPEN CANVAS 2026
It’s a collection of flowers that pop through the dry, beige moorland in Frenchay. I hate to see the destruction that the heatwaves cause, but I love to see the rebellion of the hardier wild flowers that survive in the most arid of fields.

Glass of fizz in hand for the busy opening night of Celebration of Welsh Contemporary Painting exhibition in Ardent Gallery (Brecon) 🥂 It’s been so lovely to be invited as only one of five artists to exhibit and the gallery looked absolutely beautiful tonight.

What a DAY! Painting as a Wildcard for Landscape Artist of the Year Sky Arts Artist Of The Year I had so much fun and met so many lush people. Special shout out to Amy McGrath who painted alongside me all day, snubbing the castle in favour of some trees and being interviewed together by Fern Cotton.
My colours certainly grabbed a bit of attention, I just wasn’t feeling the grey sky this morning 💅 I might polish it up a little more at home and post the final result soon.
Show will be airing in January 2027 👀let’s see if we make the cut

Hiding from the heatwave down by river this week 🌿 all the logs had their little mossy jackets on and the humidity has been prompting the fungus to go wild. Let’s just make sure we’re doing our best to allow nature to protect us from living in an air fryer please.

Mini Canvases and the whole collection framed 🥲 I finally got round to varnishing, framing and photographing the collection for Celebration of Welsh Contemporary Painting , including my three mink canvases.
