The Be-Bop Club The Be-Bop Club presents modern jazz on Thursday nights at The Hen & Chicken, Bristol BS3 1JF. Doors open 7.30 for an 8pm start, finish by 10.30pm.

After many years at The Bear in Hotwells we have now relocated to The Hen and Chicken on North St BS3 1JF. Please buy tickets in advance - sales close at 5pm on the day since after that we'll be setting the gig up, we can take cards/cash at the door if space allows.

Live jazz at the Hen & Chicken.

The Be-Bop Club are now on their summer break, but that doesn't stop them from planning the next season of great live jazz music.

The new season starts on Thursday 24th September, with Martin and Andy Play The Real Book. They will be ditching the printed arrangements and playing a selection of standards and Blue Note era classics they both know from memory, in homage to the famous Real Books.

We welcome the Nils Kavanagh Trio to The Be-Bop Club on Thursday, 30th April.

The trio has an energetic and explorative sound, with a taste for strong melodies, bright harmonies and explosive rhythms influenced by Kavanagh's Irish and Danish roots.
