Ethereal x Copperwood, Boomtown Fair 2025 FINAL CALLOUT

Ethereal Performance Art are seeking themed circus performers, aerialists, performing artists, buskers, street performers and wandering musicians. Ethereal will be providing skilled performing artists and circus as a main focus for Copperwood.

Please note we are no longer hiring or seeking actors for this years production. A list of eligible performing arts and skills are listed below for reference.

- Street performers, buskers and wondering musicians.
- Aerialists, aerial musicians and hair hang specialists.
- Jugglers, acrobats, hand balancers, whips, hand to hand, stilts, contortionist, magicians, side show, prop manipulation, hula hoopers, acro-dance, gentleman's jugglers and larger scale acts.
- Side shows performers, mediums, and alternative 1920's acts.
- Dancers, flapper performers, bar flaire and burlesque.
- Magicians

Ethereal Performance Art is expanding the cast for characters, circus performers, aerialists and other awe-inspiring performing arts for Copperwood, Boomtown Fair 2025.

Theme: 1920's hollywood

Ethereal are looking for a wide selection of AWESOME skilled performing artists and characters, which are featured below:

- Character performers:
Doomsayers, feature film celebrities, paparazzi, mobsters, socialites, moulin rouge, cabaret, suspicious remedy salesmen, speakeasy staff, suffragettes, mobile jazz musicians, fortune tellers, citizens of the depression, flappers, side show circus and open to custom submissions from applicants.

- Aerialists, aerial musicians and hair hang specialists.

- Ground circus:
Jugglers, acrobats, hand balancers, whips, hand to hand, stilts, contortionist, magicians, side show, prop manipulation, hula hoopers, hand to hand, acro-dance etcera.

- Costume department:
Dedicated costume manager and tailor/seamstress available to check in with two teams of performers per day prior to live performance times. Working alongside the main production team to organise sets of themed costumes and characters pre-festival.

🖤 Happy Halloween & Samhain from Ethereal 🖤

Performer Callout Saturday 2nd November

The Ethereal team have been summoned to provide the spookiest immersive entertainment for a private ritual (party) between 23:00-01:00 at Wake The Tiger in Bristol!

Requires sacrifices (Acts)
- 1 x fire demon from hell (Fire performer)
- 1 x Victorian nanny character
- 1 x murderous toy maker character

The character actors will be required to provide several sets of immersive walkabouts performances and horror filled interactive games, like eye ball racing, and other terrifying trials.

A fire demon will appear several times throughout the night to light the way for lost souls entering the underworld (venue)

We are proud to announce that two new event production specialists have joined our quest to create unforgettable moments for ageless audiences around the world.

Ethereal Performance Art is hosting a promotional shoot at our studio in Bristol to feature our newest vehicles, installations and out of this world characters to new potential clients, but we can't do it without your help!

Ethereal would like to invite you to join us for another year of turning our dreams and fantasies into a reality for all to enjoy.

We need circus performers, character actors and performing artists to bring our new creations to life. The team have hired incredible photographers and videographers to produce new content for our 2024 bookings.

All performers featured in the aforementioned promo packages will receive priority for any potential bookings that arise from our applications. The shoot will take place during January at our secret new studio in Bristol.

Are you looking for work in the entertainment and event sectors in 2022?

Then Ethereal needs you!

Ethereal will be receiving a complete back and front end overhaul over the next month in preparation for the new year of extravagant, beautiful, wonderful, bizarre and awe inspiring events that this year holds.

It has been our pleasure to work with some of the most inspirational, passionate and incredibly talented individuals over the last few years of our journey.

We wouldn't be able to create the unimaginable without every single one of you, stepping immediately into almost any character and helping us to create an environment that causes people to forget that they are human, even if but for a moment.

We would like to once again invite you to work with us in that special place where we create and play.

It's time for us to return to bring joy to the people.

We can't do it without you!

Where do you come in?

What do we need from you?

- A full list of your skill set

example: dance troupe, session musicians, live acts/bands, stand alone act/performance, character, walkabout act, immersive experience, choreographed performance, themed entertainment, actors, led shows, theatre performances, side show, aerial, fire, cyr wheel, martini glass performers, acrobats, stilt walkers, hand balancers, sword swallowers, jugglers, unicycles, magicians, etc, etc etc

- Full list of equipment you are able to provide or require for the performance and any available tech spec/spacing requirements per act/skill.

- A precise list of your rates for the next six months for each performance, act, skill, equipment hire, costume etc

- Full list of themed costume sets.*

* We usually always produce all costumes, props and elements of each performance in-house for each event, this would only be relevant for some bookings and is not a prerequisite for the application.

- All risk assessments, public liability insurance and other specialist insurances, if required.

- A selection of promotional material, videos and whether you are happy with Ethereal sharing these images with our clients.

They will not be shared with anyone else and will be stored securely. We will only use them with your permission and after checking your availability for the relevant booking.

- Where are you based, where are you happy to perform and how far are you willing to travel for each event?

Nationally or internationally, for example.
